"Today is the anniversary of Baba's shaktipat awakening from his guru Nityananda. There was an all night chant last night. Starting at 7 PM the 14th and ending this morning. Last night, I chanted for five hours, till about 1:30 AM. Then I went to sleep. Got up at 6 AM, ate breakfast, and started chanting again. Muktananda came in this morning and told us the following story. Baba said: "A man asked his Guru, 'If there is an emergency and I need to see God right away, what should I do?' The Guru answered, 'Don't go to a temple, or church, or ashram. Don't go to your guru, or sage, or priest. If you must find God, right away, go to where they chant God's name, and you will find God there.'"
